About Jean-Pierre Conte

Jean-Pierre Conte is the founder and Managing Partner of Lupine Crest Capital, a family office focused on private equity, real estate, and venture investments. With more than three decades of experience building and transforming companies across healthcare, financial services, software, and industrial technology, Conte has established himself as a respected figure in middle-market investing.

Conte’s approach to business was shaped by his upbringing as a first-generation American. His father, Pierre Conte, fled France following the Nazi occupation and eventually settled in the United States, where he worked as a tailor and clothing salesman serving Wall Street professionals. His mother, Isabel, emigrated from Cuba in search of independence and new opportunities. The family lived in Brooklyn, New York, and later New Jersey, where Conte grew up in modest circumstances with what he has described as big dreams and strong family support.
